Synesthetic Score - Farbmusik Original Score Soundtrack

Synesthetic Score Soundtrack / Original Score Edition

With "Synesthetic Score", a profound cinematic work is released that brings the synesthetic connection of colors and sounds directly into the world of visual storytelling. Conceived as an official Original Score, the album combines orchestral density, intimate piano passages, and atmospheric sound architecture into an emotional journey through the spectrum of human emotions.

Each piece of this album is designed to act as an independent acoustic narrative or as an atmospheric companion for visual media, film, and modern spatial concepts.

The Origin Story of „Synesthetic Score“

Every great artistic work begins at a specific point of inner sound imagination. For this project, the origin was deeply rooted in synesthetic practice – in that fascinating ability to perceive colors directly as acoustic rooms, lighting conditions, and emotional textures.

The Foundation of Light: Yellow & Red

At the beginning stood the yellow piece ("I am light"), which translates the radiance of the color yellow into a monumental, organic soundscape through the interplay of a powerful Steinway grand piano with choirs, strings, and a precise deep-bass groove. This is accompanied by the intense transformation of the red piece ("Rise From The Ashes"): In a gigantic cathedral acoustics, a floating, unedited solo guitar unfolds here, connecting sacred depth with the journey back to the light.

Symphonic Dynamics & Nature: Orange & Green

The orange piece ("United in Joy") captures the dramaturgy of people uniting in joy in the style of an epic cinematic score. The performance features an unquantized one-take electric guitar that, acting as a modern rock guitar, takes on the expressive voice of a soprano and merges with the power of a full orchestra. In contrast, the green piece ("Lost In The Magic Forest") leads us through a mystical forest inhabited by magical creatures – an orchestral nature experience full of subtle color shades.

The Architecture of Weightlessness: Blue

With "Five Steps to Heaven", the work breaks radically with the conventions of modern engineering: By consciously omitting deep basses, an acoustic "frequency vacuum" is created. A minimalist, glassy piano and ethereal female choirs span an infinite expanse. Carried by modal harmonies (bright C Lydian, shifting briefly to Indigo minor in the middle part) and a final, improvised sound cluster in a cathedral, pure oceanic transparency emerges.

From Color Experiment to Cinematic Masterpiece

Over the course of this intensive creative process, the individual color compositions grew into a closed, profound opus. The orchestral density and intimate piano passages were crafted with meticulous attention to detail to unfold their full impact – both as immersive head-cinema for pure listening pleasure and as an atmospheric, multi-layered Original Score for visual media.
